Jonqua farm got its name from the mountains surrounding the farm on the horizon – the Jonkersberg and Outeniqua Mountains.

When we bought the farm, we decided that a place so peaceful and relaxing must be shared with special guests who would appreciate this tranquil lifestyle close to nature.
Jonqua has 3 cottages:

2 x cottages- “Rus” & “Vrede”
Each has 2 bedrooms/ 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living areas. They can accommodate 6 people each with sleeper bench (2 single beds) in the living area.

1 cottage – “Liefde”
A beautiful honeymoon cottage with 1 bedroom/ 1 full bathroom with corner bath and sleeper bench in living area (can accommodate up to 4 persons)

All cottages have linen, towels and fully equipped kitchens with braai facilities on the veranda. Cottages are self-catering and linen and towels are changed by owner on a regular basis. Please bring your own beach towels.
Full service of cottages must be pre-arranged at R50.00 per cottage per day.

Our cottages do not have televisions, but cell phone and internet reception is good.
Welcoming packages for special occasions can be prepared with flowers or special requests.
